For the past several months I have been (very lightly) working on producing a track of my own. I looked for inspiration from a few sources of which are dear to my heart and fuel my desire to pursue these endeavors. One in particular stood out in my mind. Something simple and fun to listen to.
One thing electronic and club style music has taught me is that music can always be elevated and transformed into something completely different and new, but still keep it’s original essence. Otherwise, why would you want to listen to a remix?
I won’t reveal the original track just yet. I want your opinion. It is my goal that this work will be recognizable to a g33k’s ear. So, as always, I encourage your thoughts in the comments, twitter or Facebook. Thanks for listening.

I am particularly proud of this mix. I am starting to really pay attention to my transitions (at times, others not so much as you will be able to tell). I can hear a definite difference between this and previous mixes.
